Tire pressure
« on: June 19, 2013, 04:55:24 PM »
So I tried a pair of Bridgestone BT45 V's. The price was right and after 4,000 miles I've decided I quite like them. They seem to be a decent all round tire. They stick well in the twisties and are stable at high speeds (80 mph+). Feel planted on wet roads as well. Looks like I'll get at least another 4,000 miles out of them.
I have been running them at 38/40 PSI. loaded one up.
Anyone else running these guys that can give me inflation input?

I run 40-42 in them and they seem to hold air longer between top offs than the Avons they replaced, for some reason. That's one up. I'm about 250-260# with all gear. I've got about 5,500 on them  and the rear is down to the wear bars. Probably go another 1,000 on the front.

I also run BT45's, have for many years and run them at 40/42 and get very good milage 10,500 miles (17,000 kms) I like the very good grip and feel they have wet or dry also great in the twisties.
