I don't know if you guys have seen this or not but here's a website that lists and rates the best roads state by state.

First time I’ve seen this site.  I like the style of it—pix, info, map, and reasonable load time for my ole PC.

Pashnit.com is excellent for California roads.  Pretty extensive list and reviews.

I don't know if you guys checked this site out much but it's very good. Click on your state then the area of your state that you're interested in. Then look over on the right for the roads, click on one. A balloon pops up with a lil bit of info on the road. Inside the balloon is another link, click it. Now you can do a fly over of the road using Google Earth, very cool!
