Steering bearing tool
« on: November 21, 2017, 09:16:16 PM »
I need to do some winter maintenance that includes changing the fork oil and greasing the steering bearings.  What is the latest on steering bearing tools?  There was someone on the forum who made them and now I see motion pro makes them but I'm not sure if they have one to fit the C-14.  I used the inexpensive McMaster Carr spanner tool on the my old C-10 years ago with no problems.  Can I still use that?  Even if I booger it up, i'm thinking a new top nut would be a lot cheaper than this tool I will use once.  Suggestions?
