I stand corrected, you are right.
I did read that, it opens next year.

I believe the ship we were on was 96' wide, so 2' clearance a side. They do a bit of bumping, but not much using the side thrusters to keep centered and all ships proceeded they under their own power, instead of in the original old days when they were towed thru.
When you go thru on the cruise ship it's a cool deal to watch how fast they "lift" the ship, especially when you watch the one in front or back of you. No pumps are involved, all gravity feed water system that was ingeniously engineered.
The new bigger canal to the south will use pumps. So much for progress.
This street bike thing is all new to me.
Snowmobiles-I have a bunch of those.

We went through the canal on the USS Essex (LHD-2) when we came from Mississippi to San Diego.
