Wife and I are back from SE trip. With a new record.
« on: July 02, 2011, 02:29:37 PM »
The record is. I had a tire on the rear of the FJR and it was shot in 2800 miles. Less than two weeks and ,,, it was the sides instead of the center! The southeast has some terrific roads and we had a great time. Although the dragon was not my favorite road of the trip it did produce the best photos of us. This is us taken By us129photos.com

I also have some great video of what the Garmin decided would be the best route in West Virginia. Can't decide weather to edit it, or post it for the whole 30 minutes of commentary by me and the wife and the conversation with the dude on the tractor... About whether the road ahead would kill me or not...

Why did we have to run for cover with the promise of a brave new world unfold beneath the clear blue sky ?

Timalan,  post it please. I thought you had a site where your wife did some great stories on life on two wheels?

This coming week. . . We are celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary, my birthday, our daughter in laws birthday... We took somewhere close to 1000 photos. 3 hours of HD video. Including me almost crashing after hitting a crater of a pothole trying to look at a waterfall... And following that stupid gps... Www.Thismotorcyclelife.net it's coming

It's WV south west of Sand Ridge WV. All along a creek. It was actually a very scenic ride. Bumpy ass hell and then it turned to dirt.
