My Bike Spring Break

Soo,i tell the wife i need a break from the Boston Winter and trailer the Bike down to Lorton Va. Amtrak Auto Train and ride the rails to Fla.
Camped the Infield Daytona Track and caught some Bike Week action & Racing.Then it was onto Naples/Marco Island, Sugarloaf Key,Lauderdale then back to Daytona & Rail home. Great Trip and weather. 10 days 1,300 miles of fun in the Sun ! :motonoises:

Great trip, Ken. I wish there were other Auto-Trains besides the Lorton-Sanford line.

Nice.  Also like the photos from the northern trip. 

Man you sure did get a lot of snow!  It will probably be there well into spring. 

When I lived in Orlando, I dreamed of putting a bike on the train to take north and ride back south, but I was a poor college student with a wife and two toddlers so it never happened.  When I finally got to ride the BRP in 2007 it was an awesome adventure.

For me it was 35 years ago that I drove down to Daytona Beach with my brother for Spring Break. 

Riding a Connie on that hard packed sand looks super cool!

 I had to look back & see how long it had been since i'd made this trip last time. Looks like 1984 despite maybe a leftover hat purchased that yr. judging by the girls banners standing next to my KZ900 in the Rats Hole Show.Too be young camping with wheelie bars and not a care in the world. 8)
