Got to watch the MN DNR planes work a fire and refilling the water bombers on a local lake Saturday. Two AT 802 Fire Boss and two CL-415. Impressive to watch them at work. Doesn't take em long to make a round trip from the fire, reload and return.

That put the fire right out! Cool!
Hope there were no bystanders.

Can anyone identify this base or facility.  I think it's in Europe.  In the background is the word (looks like it might be France) FRAN on a building...

Try it now...didn't realize it was set up as private.   Also, identify the aircraft in the picture if you can.  Ok, 63718 is a U8-D Beech Queen Air, based in Heidleburg Germany at some point in time.  Even more news on that aircraft - went to MASDC as UB080 Sept. 7, 1979.  Lived a long life.  Have no clue what a UB080 is.

MASDC - Military Aircraft Storage and Disposition Center

I'm thinking it's Orly Air Base (located at Orly) as I found another pic with that background with France on it.  Not quite the same, but close.

Tis a beautiful background, Charlie.  Too bad the bikes are obscuring the aircraft... ;)

This was supposed to have been taken before they restricted flight over the canyon. Right back seat of an A-6.
