Updated: 2008 C1400 non ABS for sale Sale Pending

2008 non ABS 44k miles.  Brand new set of Conti-motion tires and new drive cushions, new battery, braided front brake lines, Brembo front pads and rotors and rear pads.  The bike runs great, oil changed every 5k using Kawasaki oil and filter, as well as final drive lube.  Cee Baileys Euro Tour screen, heli-bars, shifter bearing kit, 2010 muffler, heated grips, Firstgear 2 zone heated gear control installed, HID w hi and low beam, Throttle meister bar ends w throttle lock, Givi 55 top case with Admore lighting kit, luggage rack and aluminum mounting rack; still have the OEM rack as well.  OEM and Kawasaki low gel seats included, as well as the drivers peg lowering kit.  Normal wear for the mileage and a few small scuffs on the right side from a parking lot tip over.

Worst case I'll just keep riding it.  Just had a Son in November, so I don't expect to get many miles on this year.

New tires and drive cushions are going on this week, I'll replace the TPMS batteries while I'm there as well as change the oil and final drive fluids.
New battery is already in, fired right up!

40k you should'nt need drive rubbers yet, hell, I'd expect you need 100k+ before even considering those..

I would be interested in that Gel seat tho... just saying, if it's available.....

What are drive cushions/rubbers?

Never a stupid question!
They act as a bushing or cushion between the rear wheel and the final drive.
They smooth out any harsh shifting or braking.  On a bike with a chain they mount between the wheel and the plate the sprocket mounts to.

Thanks! So I guess on our bikes these cushions are inside of the rear hub someplace? I'll have to look closer the next time I have my rear wheel off.

Looking from the rear with the wheel off, look at the right side of the rear drive.  You'll see the cushions.  Not a bad idea to inspect them but as MOB said there shouldn't be any reason to replace them this soon.

If I were you, I'd sell your extra parts and accessories separately if you can.  You'll get more back than selling them with the bike.  Up to you, though.

Yeah, I'm almost there.  I hoped it was a good price and would make life easy selling it together; someone (I think) would get a damn good deal.
We'll, it's easy to put back to stock!
