Hi fanatics,
My name is Arnie, I'm from a city in the Netherlands called Zoetermeer.
I'm a "63 raised in Canada when I was 14 we all left to Holland and well kind of enjoy Europe!
I have a foundation called www.Easyriderseurope.eu (http://www.Easyriderseurope.eu)
we ride Kilometers through Europe for charity and enjoy riding 12oo KM's a day :P but that's enough about me.
I have a old Dnepr and 2x GTR1000 "86 and "88 and now I'm stripping the "86 down for the Road Trip 2017 in September to the Pyrenees (Andorra)
love this bike :-X was always a Silverwing guy GL500/GL650 GL1000 a Vulcan dude VN800 Classic ,
but I need a big tank and a tough tour bike so I think I came to the right place.
I have alot of Questions most of them solved by Steve's Utube video's... there great:) and others while tearing down the 1986 GTR1000 so hope learn alot but also show some stuff :)
I'm planning on lowering it and putting handelbars on..maybe take of the back sub frame because we sleep in hotels no camping any more ..done with that hahaha. so I don't need that much stuff.
Ok then.. if you have any questions ...feel free to ask!

Welcome :chugbeer: Arnie!!!
You've come to the right place for help in prepping your bike for the long haul. They were built for that.
I agree. Steve's videos are a big help.
