New owner in Kansas City.
« on: March 12, 2014, 04:09:44 PM »
Just bought a 08' with 16k miles.  Gave $6k.  Came with heated grips, upgraded factory gel seat, metal luggage rack, passenger backrest, passenger lowering pegs, handlebar risers, ZX14 forks, ram mount, even a cup holder!!  I would like to add electronic cruise at some point, at the very least a Brake-Away throttle lock.  Also will have to do an exhaust as well.  The guy had ZX14 header and exhaust that he said was close to bolt-on for an extra $200, I passed.  Not sure what I should have done.  I can still get it probably if it's a deal?  Also is there such thing as an add-on drivers backrest?

Thanks in advance for your help/advice.  Looking forward to riding the Connie!!

Welcome. Sounds like you got a good deal. More info about the zx parts is needed to give an opinion.

Oh yea, that would be important!! lol  It's just a stock ZX14 complete exhaust, headers to tail.

You will find a few C-10 / C-14's at JT's in Desoto KS on Sundays on occasion...  Maybe I will see you there!
