Title: Givi D407ST Windscreen
Post by: Canada44 on March 28, 2019, 11:15:38 AM
Does anyone have one of these Givi windshields? It's time to replace my Stock 2010 windshield and am looking at options. The Givi is $157.00 CA. I am not looking for a big windshield.  thanks C44

Don't know about the Givi.

Not sure about the weather there, but make sure to hold onto your old (presumably scratched up, as long as it is not broken) screen and cut it down to make a "summer" screen.  One of the best things I ever did :)

Consider a MRA Vario or a MRA Touring and use the wind deflector to make it either a Winter or a Summer Shield.

Ride safe, Ted

+1 on the summer screen. By far one of the best mods to do with this bike.

My original 2014 was scratched up when I got my bike. Bought the Givi. If you like the original, you will like this one as they are pretty similar. Your shoulders will get a bit more air as the top is a bit more narrow. Hope that helps.  I also cut my original down to a shorty and love it during the warmer summer months in Ontario. Cheers Martin

thanks Waxbean,  I was comparing the 2 windshields and you can notice the top of the Givi is narrower than the OEM.  How does it hold up with getting scratched up? The OEM is so soft and easy to scratch.

I don't know what the PO did to the original It was a swirling mess. I'm pretty careful and the Givi has held up fine.  :)
