Title: My First long trop. Florida to NC mountains!!!!

Ok I know this is a mini trip for most of you guys, but the longest I have ridden a motorcycle to somewhere was about 2 hours. So I decided I wanted to try a longer trip. I didnt think 10 hours on a motorcycle would go by so fast! My trip was amazing. I did some of the blue ridge, the dragon, the skyway, moonshiner and a few other small roads. I ended up doing a little over 2100 miles in my 4 day trip. I got to meet a lot of people and got to almost meet a lot of different animals on the road. Man i love riding in the mountains and I loved riding my c14. This trip truly helped me with my decision of selling my M109R and keeping the connie as the only bike. Heres a just few pics for ya. Nice pics, I had a blast while I was down there.  I always enjoy seeing your murdered out C14 and 109.  Can you post a link to your Dragon shots?

I was just up there from SE Fla myself last week (Sept 30- Oct 6) you didn't say when you were there, but sorry I missed seeing you!

Looks like we did pretty much the same trip, 2200 miles for me but I had 2 days off the bike visiting family in Asheville.

I recognise the Devils Courthouse pic--did you hike to the top? It's an awesome view!!

Thanks for the comments everyone. JD I haven't bought a dragon pic yet. Thanks for reminding me to do it! I was up there Sept 28th-Oct 2nd. So we were up there at the same time. Ironically though I was shocked I never saw one other C14 the entire time I was up there. I was shocked with that.

I had the same experience when we were up that way over Labor Day.  No C14's to be seen.

Great pics.  We rode a lot of the same roads when we were there.  Even took some similar pics.  I like the view from the top of Devil's Courthouse.  I go up at least once a year.  I hope to go up once more yet this year, probably the first weekend in November.

Just Krusen, looks like we went on about the same trip! pretty cool!
