Title: Bike Curious
Post by: DSRider650 on October 15, 2019, 11:22:58 AM
Joined to learn about living with a C14.
Been riding 12 years. Have two bikes.
2003 KLR650, bought 1 year old -3k miles.  Now at 36k miles.
2012 VStrom650 ABS Adventure - 30k miles, all me.
Not going to let either of these go, just yet.

Looking to add a C14 to the stable to satisfy a desire for “more”.

Retired from Active Duty Coast Guard, now a contract Merchant Mariner sailing as Electronics Officer on  Military Sealift Command cargo ships. At sea about 6-7 months every year means I need to make the most of my riding windows. Thinking I’m ready for something that can warp time a bit.

Looks like I’ve found a great resource here.
Will be quiet while I get educated on things.
Thanks, Ethan.

The Connie's a blast. A bit heavy, but packs a wallop!

Welcome Ethan. No need in sitting on the sidelines. Jump right in and get your feet wet.

Welcome Ethan, this forum is a great resource for questions  that you may have regarding the C14

The C14 is a very different bike to what you are used to, but it's also a forgiving bike which will permanently apply a big smile to your face  :)
