unwanted passenger
« on: March 22, 2017, 05:25:37 PM »
Riding home from lunch today on US 61 something hard and dark hit my faceshield. It did not splatter and I pondered briefly what it might have been as I continued on my way. Soon after I felt a tingling sensation between my shoulder blades. Shifted my jacket around but the sensation did not go away, in fact it was moving around. I pulled off onto the nice wide shoulder and quickly pulled off gloves, helmet and jacket and then quickly pulled my T-shirt over my head and threw it to the ground and this fell out:

Looks like a Bumble Bee without the yellow stripe. I thanked him for not stinging me.
Nothing worse than having your balls go missing.

I was driving my truck once with the window down and my arm extended out the side. One of those bees hit my arm and dropped straight into my shirt pocket. I'm pounding my chest like Tarzan killing the thing but didn't get stung. You were lucky.
