SOLD CalSci Large Concours 14 Shield
« on: May 01, 2013, 05:29:59 PM »
SOLD

I purchased this shield from another member who used it once for 2 hours and then removed it.  I rode with the shield on 2 occasions for less than 2 hours and it is in perfect condition.  Will ship with original cloth cover, cleaner, box.  I wanted to try something different than the V-Stream and unfortunately I liked it more than my wife.

Original price was $232.00 shipped, looking to get $145.00 plus shipping.  Thanks

Hi Alpha,

I might be interested.  I bought my current bike with a Cee Bailey Ultra Tour already on it, and it's ever so slightly too short, maybe 1" to 2".  Any idea how the CalSci large compares to the CB UT?  I'm right at 6'.

Thanks!

EDIT:  I'm reading from others that the CalSci large is about 1/2" taller than my CB ultra tour.  I think want to go slightly taller than that, as I have a long torso and risers.
Great price though!

Don't let these two hours of use deter you. THis is a fantastic shield. I have had one since I purchased my 2009 and we use it for every two-up trip we take. This creates an amazing calm, quiet pocket of air for both riders. It is big, but certainly not too big. Great secondary shield. Not my first choice for my everyday shield, but perfect for two-up. I am also 6'
