arai helmet and blutooth
« on: March 17, 2013, 03:10:33 PM »
My brother has loaned me a bluetooth to use on a trip to Texas. There will be 8 of us so it would be nice to keep in contact and plan gas stops  etc. On looking at mine arai signet Q I don't see an easy way to mount the ear pieces with out some cutting. Has anyone had experience making that mod on a signet Q? Thanks in advance.

Snap out the padding and place the speakers where u want them. Look at the owners manual for the helmet.

I had em in my Arai Corsair, no problems at all with the install, take out the check pads and remove the cloth cover, velcro em to the ear cut-out and re-cover with the cloth cover, done.  :)

Most of the time, the ear pieces, either come with double stick tape or velcro backing. I would suggest trying some velcro tape.

I've got the signet Q also.  I took out the cheek pieces and slipped the speakers into the lining.  Holds the speakers in perfect alignment with my ears, they never move or fall out, very comfortable, and no cutting or gouging an expensive helmet.

Have a great trip!
