Murphs: Bar Risers

This set gives 3/4" pull back and 1-3/8" rise. For comparison, we have the stock measurement from the top of the mirrors to the bars at 12-1/4", while the height of the bar end is 41-7/8" on center from the ground. With the KB risers installed, the distance back is now 13", with a height of 43-1/4". The riser blocks themselves are 1-5/8" thick.

The KB risers come with the same grade stainless mounting bolts as stock, 4 bolts to use with, or to temporarily cover, the accessory mounting holes, and six allen head covers, just in case you want a little change of pace.

I had the genmar 2" risers, but that was not enough. I made my own and use phil's wedges. Gives me 2" rise with 2 1/2" pullback.

I have MCLs plus my own design blocks (on the old forum) to pull back and raise the bars more .... and Phil's Wedges to adjust the cant.

I love this more Wing-like seating.  I know others will say that lower bars make the bike handle better, but I'm uncomfy at the lower settings.  I still manage to get thru the twisties with 3/8 inch chicken stripes.  And, I'm not a hard rider.

Making yourself comfortable on the bike is more important to me than how fast I can ride curvy roads quickly.  I'm happy with my set up.

I had Helibar risers on my C10 and stuck with them on the 14.  Great workmanship.  Great fit.  Just what the Doctor ordered.

That might be helped more by a throttle lock.

I've got COGnositicator's old risers and I really like them.  I am think about getting some wedges when Phil is ready to start selling them.

Phils on a road trip right now, but he posted a few weeks back that he was happily handing this product over to us.
