Turn signals not working, Where do I start 05 Concours

Front and rear turn signals not working any suggestions.  Brake and tail light is ok, but not the turn signals.  When I push the direction switch, nothing.  Any help would be appreciated. John

Have you checked the fuses under the left side cover?

Hate to be completely stupid.  Only owned this thing 7 years.  I pulled the side cover and see the Jbox,  Don't see the fuse box.  Help and thanks in advance.  John

The J-Box is the Fuse Box....   ::)

There is a plastic snap-off cover and under there you will find the fuses. Turn Signal fuse is the bottom right corner and should be a 10 amp fuse.

John - the fuses are in the jbox. pop the cover, they're inside. Steve

Thanks guys. Will go look.  Steve, I can't believe your still around.  Kicking the idea about selling the Connie. Runs great and only road 5k since you worked on it.  I am getting old. :)

I had a flasher unit ( located up in right fairing ) get
wonky on me after a too aggressive washing.
It dried out after a day or two and went back to normal.
I had no turn signals or flashers.

OK about to use all my favors up  :).  No blown fuses.  I sure did not know the Jbox was the fuse box everyone was talking about.  Learn something every day, no matter how old you are.  Any suggestions of where next.  Last year prior to going out, I remember it working intermittingly.  Did not worry too much about it as long as I still had arms to show the direction I was going to go.  Old time biker.  They use to never have directionals.

The Flasher (in front on the left side) as mentioned above.  Also check the connector coming off the left handlebar control assembly.

Ok, I think it is the switch,  Put a jumper from center which is orange to green.  Direction works.  From orange to Gray, Directional works.  Looks like I am in for some soldering.  Bummer and it is close in there.   Any suggestions where to get a switch.  John

Leo, just thought I would let you know that you really look a lot like my friend Bill Royal.  He is in charge of the st1100 group.  He just got back from a 15000 mile ride all over the United States.  Rides a st1400.  Really good friend and nice guy.  John

Thanks a lot everyone.  I found one on ebay and installed it.  Did not have to remove the tanks.  Really appreciate all the help.  John
