.   :D
Then there's that as well. They only supply a battery for "functional use only, battery life may be reduced." Is the quote on the packaging.

Installed soft compound grips on top of the factory ones! Can already tell these will make long rides much better!  Theyre about as thick/ soft as the grip puppies, but theyre rubber so they should last longer.  $11
Does it take much longer for the heat to make through those grips?

I think it does take a few minutes longer but they feel warmer because of their foam construction.
They make you grips bigger around which puts more of your palm in contact with the heated surface.

Are these the grips?:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sportbike-Pro-Grip-GP-Gel-Motorcycle-Handlebar-Grips-714BK-/270645641449?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f03bcc0e9&vxp=mtr

Yup, Those be thems!

Lots of dish soap and water was used... I recommend doing it in the shade on a comfortable day... I was trying to do it in the sun when it was almost 90 yesterday and the soap kept drying on me. made for a royal PITA...

And you have heated grips? Do they just slip over the OEM grips?

I rode mine up to Hilton Head Island for dinner. 515 miles one way. Tomorrow I'm going to spend the day at Tybee Island and see if I can work on some tan lines.

Now I can color in that empty spot in my signature map :)

I sure do wish I had those slip in grips right now. After holding the throttle for 10 hrs,  my hand is not feeling good. I HATE  these stock grips!

Amazing how much better it shifts now  :)

Those look like regular grips, that go directly on handlebar. Did you cut the ends off of them?

Took a nice highway run with my RT riding friend.  Toodled along at 80-110 MPH, most of the ride.(averaged 39.5mpg, too)

Learned to play Chicken Foot dominos, with other senior aged folks.  Steak and baked for dinner.   A great day all around...
