Full Yoshimura Exhaust and PCV winter project
« on: February 28, 2015, 09:10:17 PM »
Last summer I bought a full Yoshi exhaust system from a member on the ZX14 forum and have finally gotten around to installing it, I had it Ceramic coated tokeep the heat inside the fairing to a minimum and give it a nice black sheen.
I am also installing a PCV and Autotune at the same time.

I welded in a bung for an oxygen sensor require by the autotune.

Got the C14 back on the road today after the install of the exhaust, PCV and autotune, I couldn't be happier with the results.
Sounds great and lifts the front wheel with ease.

If anyone else is interested in adding this exhaust to their bike there is another Yosimura full system for sale on the ZX14 forum, it is identical to this one and he is asking $550.

Took my bike to the drag strip a couple of weeks ago to see how much the exhaust had improved its performance.
Last fall it ran an 11.95 @ 118 mph
Now its best run was an 11.44 @ 124, so it was a full half second improvement.
Not bad for a fat guy.

Amazing the difference exhaust + PCV makes, isn't it?

I went the dual ZX14 exhaust + PCV + Auto tune last winter.

Couldn't be happier with the results.
