Would also note that this deal is available to everyone whose bike is still under warranty, even if you are the third of fourth owner.

You do not have to be the original owner of the bike to be able to make it work.  Doesn't matter what your local dealer says, as of right now anyway.

Is this deal available north of the border ?

You could always call the dealer in Richmond, VA and ask.  I suspect not, but it may be worth a phone call or email.

Just an FYI...

I wouldn't recommend including your credit card info in an email.  Emails are not encrypted, so it would be real easy for someone to intercept and steal your information.  This is especially problematic at this time of year (holiday season) as the identity thieves always up their game as so many people are shopping online.  Would hate to see anyone get such an unwelcome "Christmas surprise".  It happened to me last December via an order through either NewEgg.com or Dell.com - both of which are very reputable and supposedly "secure" websites - and in a matter of two days some clown in Thailand had charged over $4,000 to my card.

I thought I would pass on the deal for the extended warranty for $339.00 is still a go and it’s painless. I got in the mail today the paperwork from Kawasaki stating my Good Times Protection Plan expires 12/12/14. Thanks MOB and Pete for a good deal and the hard work to give us a little more time to warp those rotor’s. Just kidding, but still a heart felt thanks.   ;D

The dealer said I have a few days to think about it, I don't buy warrantys , will I have this bike three + years from now? I could see 339.00 but 800.00 ? said if I don't use it  in six years from now , I can trade it in for farkles ?
Do these bikes have known Issues ? I'm 57 I will drive it like a old man I don't plan on any lone trips. Thanks jj

My buddy just traded for a 2008 C14 (expired factory warranty) and paid $1800 for a two year, third party warranty.  I almost passed out when he told me that.

You have 3 years to think about it, and in six years I would hope you wouldn't need any more farkles.  The extended warranty can be purchased anytime within the current warranty time.

Got my Kawasaki GTPP offer (California) 1 year=$495, 2 years $605 (or $152 X4months), 3 years $682 (or $171.50 X4 months). I assume they do not warranty consumables (brakes pads etc) but will it cover rotors?  Got make the decision soon.

The've covered roters under warranty if they warp.

You do know that you can get 3 years of the  Kawasaki GTPP for just $339 (not $682), right? Just do what is stated in the first post of this thread.

I think Florida is the only state that you wouldn't be able to use the GTPP at the discounted rate of $339.  SonnyC, you should be good to go, just call the number in the beginning of this thread and you should be able to cut your "offer" in half.

I just ordered my GTPP. Very easy to work with the dealer, sent him my info via email, he called for CC # and I should have the paperwork in a few days. Should be covered through March 2015. Thanks to the OP who got this deal for us.
