Because, for the most part, FL has it's own way of dealing with these things and if the bike was garaged in FL you had to go through a FL dealer for the extended warranty.

How, pray tell, Daytona_Mike, did you get it for $339?
I called and gave the vin to a dealer in GA and it worked. I got my new card with in a week.. put my bike in the dealer  shop and got new rotors and a new cam chain tensioner installed at no charge.
Gotta love it.

That's what I thought.   Thanks for the reminder for those in FL.  You can either give the dealer information here or hopefully someone can PM you to get it.

Thanks.

I just submitted my request, been trying to decide and figured for $9.41 a month it was a great deal.

Got my paperwork.  Pete is a little hard to get a hold of but when I did reach him he was already on top of the warranty.  Nice guy, thanks Pete!

Paperwork already here.  Still $339.  Quite the savings over the GTPP Mama Kaw is asking.

So where is Pete's number? I must be blind. Looked through and can't find it. Bought my 09 new in 03/2011. Warranty expires this march. Figure I better get extension early, may get 2 of them for 6 more years. Thanks

Extended mine yesterday. Pete out of town but they sent me to a guy in the finance dept. who was filling in for him. No price change. Very easy people to work with

I just got my card in the mail... very satisfied. I bought the policy for my 2009 that I bought NOS in 2011, no problems at all. There was an error on the registration form, but was taken care of right away. Price is still good.

Considering my TPMS battery warning is flashing now, I think it will pay for itself pronto!

This deal is still in effect.

I emailed Ultimate Cycle on the 14th with all of my info and a contact number.  I received a call on the 21st for my cc#.  I received my paperwork from them on the 23rd and I received my card from Kawasaki today.

Awesome deal!

We discovered in 11/2014 that Kawasaki has now limited the GTPP to a maximum of two extensions of the original warranty for a total of 9 years maximum coverage (3 year factory warranty + 2 x 3-year GTPP).  If you had already been able to obtain three extensions of the original warranty before the policy change, it should still be honored.

I added this information to the top posting.
Shoodaben (was Guhl) Mountain Runner ECU flash, Canyon Cages front/rear, Helibars risers, Phil's wedges, Grip Puppies, Sargent World seat-low & heated & pod, Muzzy lowering links, Soupy's stand, Nautilus air horn, Admore lightbar, Ronnie's highway pegs, front running lights, all LED, helmet locks, RAM Xgrip, Sena SMH10, Throttle Tamer, MRA X-Creen, BearingUp Shifter, PR4-GT, Scorpion EXO-T1200,etc

 ???
Thanx for the assist, I'll go back and re write all of the drivel I originally posted, GTPP is no more, there is a NEW Kawasaki program in place, Uniquely called KPP, Kawasaki Protection Plan...which is why I have to revise. Pete is still providing for all of us / you, the plan, which can be bought twice.... when I get to my computer I'll explain the new program. Fully.

GTPP new program is now called something different, all current GTPP holders are covered.

OK.  I was going to ask if there are any changes other than just the limit of renewals.  I am afraid to ask, though...

BTW- does any other Kawasaki (other than the Concours) come with a 3 year factory warranty or are they all 1 year?  And were people able to purchase GTPP/KPP for those bikes too?  And what would the extended durations be for those?  (Not that I want a different bike, I am just curious how the Concours compares).
