Summer extravaganza (sp?)
« on: July 05, 2011, 03:07:42 pm »
Of course the routes are just tentative.  There are only two actual locations we must hit.  Laramie, Wy.  Steve's daughter is attending Wyotech there and he want to do a weekend's worth of riding with her on Saturday and Sunday.  The Hoover dam is the other location I will make it to.
Here are some tentative routes for your viewing pleasure.

Just a suggestion regarding days 2 and 3...take the loop through Glen Haven...either direction...Estes Park to Glen Haven to Drake...it has less traffic than US34...doesn't take you out of your way...and it ROCKS!

Thanks for the suggestion.  My trip has been cancelled by the SO.  She was having abdom. pains, and on friday (the day I was to leave), I had to take her in to the hospital.  That ended in a 3.5 hr surgery and what will most likely be 8 weeks off work.

I have planned a long trip for 6 years and haven't made any of them.  Got close this year though, came down to about 30 minutes before departure.  Next year should be a piece of cake.  :)
