yup. bad fan switch. while you are in there, id recommend wiring in a bypass manual switch if/when it it goes out again. i have it in the fairing to the left of the triple trees down.
first road trip i made on the C10 fan switch dies on the blue ridge had to hotwire the fan for the last leg of it. worked but sucked.
I replaced mine with a honda civic one. 1991 civic DX. causes fan to coem on around 220 or so but its been in my bike for 3 years, zero issues. Or, go with Murphs.
as long as you dont open the radiator cap, you can swap the switch out pretty fast and not lose more than a drop or 2 of coolant.
