Ok, I understand.
Just remembered, you may know Boomer?
Also from the UK.

The main reason I mentioned them I;s they would know where to get ZG-1400 parts as it is a ZG-1400 only group.

Ride safe, Ted

Think I have it sorted by a kind chap who's taking them off a blown motor.  Bloody relieved, as Kawasaki weren't helpful.  Doubly relieved, as my Shouldabeen flash wasn't the revelation I was led to believe it would be.  Now I can be blown away  :D

Boomer lives there also...

I'm always keen to meet up with a fellow biker, for a cuppa and a chat.

Do you know what it will cost?  I don't know much about this sort of thing, so if it's a convenient way of sending for you, let's do it that way.

probably the cheapest cost, is the USPS priority DVD/CD box carrier, it's about $8 for the box/envelope, and will run maybe $35 US to ship to Surrey... maybe more, I can't find all the info online...

FedEx envelope to you would run about $135...

probably the easist and least cost, would be to tape them all inside a Christmas Card, and send it priority.. which will run about $30 USD

here's a post from Boomer, always glad to hook someone up ;

If it's $50 or so, that's fine.  Just let me know how much you'd like and I'll send you the funds the same day.

Jeez, Rich the pimp. Who'd a thunk it  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

I have lots of spares for the GTR1000, but very little for the 1400GTR.
I'm in Essex and always up for a chat, but also prefer solo rides and romantic walks on the beach  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :deadhorse: :rotflmao:

Back to reality for a moment?

I am not having much luck removing fly screws. I have two out and have buggered two. Probem is my JIS #2 has a short shaft. Easy boys! I can remove the screws I can get a straight shot at but the others the point is angled due to clearance issue between the screwdriver handle and the frame. I am thinking I will need to remove the throttlebody unless anyone has a solution.

Pay attention you perverts: I removed the TB and got two flies out. No problem if you have a straight shot at the screws with your JIS #2. Two screws left with buggered heads. Going to   TB on my drill press and drill the heads off.

so, with all the work, and cost... are you sending them for "free", just asking, because the e-bay one I posted, was Local... and I would have had to get off my fat butt, drive, and pick them up, remove the flys, and ship them.. all prior to any $.

SEMPER FI.

(I know I should have just picked it up, and sent them.. but man, I've been burned too many times)

Wanted to cover any packaging cost, etc.  Happy to give you something for your trouble, or to make a donation to a charity of your choice.

I do appreciate the time and effort you've put into this.
