I put this up for sale back in June, but didn't really want to sell it very badly. My wife got sick earlier this week suddenly and while we still aren't 100% sure what is wrong, it isn't looking good. It really is time to sell my bike, as life is too short for me to be away from her right now.
1995 Kaw Concours --$1500
First let me say; Power cams have been ordered and are on the way, probably by the end of summer-ish. This can be verified by SiSF/Steve Sefsick. If you want them, we can talk about it. I would definitely entertain offers for less than what I've got in them.
Details:
7Ju-Rock brand windshield at +2" wider+ ~7" over than stock. Huge windshield, but I'm five ten with a long torso and I peek right over the top.
64,xxx miles
2 min mod power jets and advanced exhaust cam sprocket from SiSF. Carbs gone through by SiSF.
Vista Cruise throttle lock
Murphs "Great Grips"
1.25" riser blocks
Cams are not pitted--If you buy the power cams, you can sell these to recoup a little bit of money. They are in good shape.
Several extra parts: couple of oil filters, petcock, some other stuff I'd have to look for.
Currently running with only top fairing. I have the lower fairing, but a couple tabs are broken on the top fairing. Inner panels have been trimmed accordingly. I do have the lowers.
I dropped the freaking thing and broke the right bag antler. Pisses me off, but there it is. It has been welded once by the PO, so I'm not sure if it can be rewelded, but I'm hoping to take it to the weld shop and see. The fairing isn't in the best of condition, but all the lights/signals work and the main fairing bolt is secure and doesn't appear to be cracked.
The bike will win no beauty contests, but it runs out well, hasn't been flogged (very often, but seriously, who doesn't once in a while). It's going to need a new front tire. If you are a person who doesn't care about looks but cares about engine quality, this bike is ready to go. The carbs have never been run without 500:1 mix TC-W3, ask SiSF about that if you want to. He runs it in his own bike. If you want the power cams, I'd let those go, but it will be a little extra.
I hate to get rid of this bike, especially due to just ordering the cams, but unfortunately stuff happens, stuff that is more important than motorcycles. I always said I wouldn't be a guy who gave up motorcycles, but I guess I'm going to, for a little bit at least.
Make offer with or without the power cams. Feel free to call me if you want to talk about it. I'd meet someone halfway if it isn't too incredibly far. Let me know. (217)979-9956
Thanks, Brian.
