spend some $$  on parts at a shop that dynos and they'll make sure you leave with some good numbers.
Havent figured out what you can do with those numbers though. Tell everybody I guess

This is from my Dyno run at Fuel Moto. Was running a canned map and am pretty happy with the improvement. Running Stock exhaust, stock air cleaner, PC III, flys out. 21k on the odometer.

I tho't I had a thread of my own regarding the Dynotronics re-Flash and initial dyon run.  Can't find it .... anyway, I had the HD dealer re-dyno the bike today with the full on Muzzy header/dual exhaust system and the bike was Dynotronics re-Flashed as well.

I'm pretty impressed with the results with only having Dynotronics re-Flash my ECU and adding Muzzy's full on 4/2/2 exhaust system.  I was aware that the bike was way better than with just the slip on, but SOTP is not a dyno, eh.

Anyway, I'll try to post a photo of the chart.  Still can't scan the pix from the card.

I'll try to get a better photog manana ....

Here's the scoop ...

The 2010 C14 with Dynotronics re-Flash and Holeshot slip ons was about 127 rwhp with about 87 ft/lb torque, air/fuel ~18.

After hooking up the full tilt Muzzzy 4/2/2 the bike made 147 rwhp and 95 ft/lb torque, air/fuel was ~18.

Pretty impressive jump of 20 ponies and 10 ft/lb torque.  And, the bike runs like it has more juice, too.  Very smooth delivery of power.  You can see that after 4K the bike LEAPS !

Much obliged, ZG.  I'm quite happy with the results we've found, too.

Not sure what the "next shiny thing" will be, tho.  Bike is pretty much as I want it, now.

Bagger,
wondering if you lowered the A/F ratio to the 13.5/14 range if the dyno #'s would increase, seems like 18 is a bit on the rich side.....

I shipped the data off to Dynotronics this morning.  Waiting for Joe to respond.  I don't have a clue.

09 Connie, first pull is all stock with flies removed for a baseline. Next pull same dyno with full area p, bmc race, pcv, flies removed with fuel moto map. Third pull custom map same mods.

BTW... it seems confusing at first glance but your AFR values are actually around 13. (13 parts air to one part fuel. (stoichiometric).

Yes, I tho't it was a bit confusing as well.  I checked the 1st run chart which has a better lower graph of air/fuel and it clearly shows between 13 and 14.  The 2nd run is a bit better than that.  I'm going to see if the dyno shop can print out the same/same graph of air/fuel in a larger more expanded format.

I don't know why both charts say "18" ??

Here is mine from yesterday.
TI Force full titanium exhaust, PCV, Flies out and K&N air filter.
the 123hp run is before they did anything to it. No baseline run before the mods were added.

Just wondering what the accuracy of the different dynos is?  At + or - 5% at 150 hp you could have a reading of 142.5 to 157.5 hp for the same bike done on different dynos, making it difficult to compare results.

Different dynos, different air temps, different humidities - lots of factors which make comparing charts from different dynos more of a leap of faith.  Even same bike on the same dyno but in a different season can produce different results. To get a truer idea of how effective mods are you should try to do back to back runs on the same day, before and after so to speak.

That said dynos are still fun and if you have a chance to participate in a dyno day it is a cheap way to see how the bike is running and with the mighty Concourse you might even get some bragging rights :)

Very impressive. Any change on sharing the third map.   :chugbeer:

Might get my dyno time right before new tires, since all tire mfg's recommend any tire used on dyno pulls not go back to road use.

Never heard that one before! That must mean I have to get a new set of PR3's :)

I've never heard that one, why would that be? I've dyno'd all my bikes and never change the tires out afterward and have never had any issues...
