Can you get the Sena with the wired mic base to begin with?

No, it comes with the boom mic, you have to buy the base plate that allows using the wired button mic.

I placed my order a couple of days ago.  I have not recieved any information other that I was billed for the full price.  Hoping to here something soon.  I hope we didn't overwhelm them.  How long did it take for members to recieved any followup information other that the billing?

Thanks that's what I needed to know.  Still trying to decide whether or not I really want to go with this when all I really need is bluetooth connection to my phone.

I tried calling them at least 6 times.  Always got an answering machine.  Didn't leave a message after the first one, but went ahead and ordered on-line Tuesday evening, using the comment block to quote the discount information.  Paypay notified me almost immediately that I was billed the full amount.  A short time later I got a shipping notice.  I figured I would NEVER get the discount.  WRONG.  The next day I got an e-mail telling me of the rebate.  Around 5PM on Wed, I got a call back from the orginal message left 6 days earlier.  Today, the product arrived.  So, order placed on-line Tuesday night.  Rebate notice received Wed.  Call back received Wed.  Product received Friday.  Not bad at all.  Haven't had a chance to even open the box.

Used my new SENA yesterday for the first time.   Wireless bluetooth to my iPod and to my phone.  Took 2 phone calls while on the bike yesterday and clarity was awesome and neither phone call could believe I was on the bike driving 65 down the highway.   I was also caught in the rain, and no issues.   So far so good.

I'm going to have to convince the wife that I "need" these. Any idea how long this offer from Radiorider is good for?

How do the speakers sound?  I am interested in good sound.

The only thing I have to compare it to is my Apple earbuds and I would say the sound is crisper and more amplitude.

Ordered from radiorider.com Sun night, received Wed afternoon, installed & test ridden immediately.  Very nice - exactly what we were looking for!  Got the discount also - thanx, Ron!  (And also to DocPigskin!)

Anyone want some very gently used Uclears?  Check the For Sale section...   ;D

Well, I pulled the trigger and ordered the dual setup as my wife and I may be doing a long ride next weekend. Hope it gets to me in time.

Had a Sena for 5 months and used it 2 up on a 2000 mile trip to San Francisco. Great set-up, easy to use with the large dial, pairs with both the Blackberry and the Garmin Nuvi 765.  The new version uses USB so should be software upgrade-able. Given the performance and price, I would recommend it.

Finally took the plunge and ordered the Sena via email last Thursday.  Came in on Tuesday. Working great so far with my phone.  will sync the second unit to the first and install in my daughter's helmet this weekend.
