Time to bump this one back to the forefront.  Can't believe it's gotten three pages back.

I'm sitting watching a computer screen following the progress of a software upgrade in Luray, VA.  The system is slow and I'm using DVDs as the media.  I'm watching a screen that's showing about 55% progress so far.  I've got a feeling I'll be here all day.  Sigh....

Right at the moment I'm getting ready to change out my Comcast supplied rental cable modem (just went up to $7 per month) for a Motorola SURFboard SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0 modem. Gonna do a couple speed tests for a before and after comparison.

20 degrees here with a fresh 2" of snow last night, no riding in sight for me. A little more snow and I can get the sled out at least.

Will do, gonna call Comcast right now and get the new modem set-up on my system and then give 'er a go. Wish me luck.    :o
