North jetty at Fort Stevens Rob?

Excellent guess, give that man a cigar!

There's another parking lot to the north east of the one I took that picture in, but you couldn't see the ocean from it.

I even invited you to go that day too.  :)

We love that place and take our RV and bikes (bicycles) there every summer, lots of great trails, and is one of the last few places you can still drive on the actual beach around these parts, good times indeed.

Connie visits the Lone Star Motorcycle Museum, Vanderpool, TX. 11/11/11

Connie's favorite at the museum:  1947 Gilera Saturno 500cc racer.  Yes, that's a heel/toe rearset shifter for the right foot.  The rear suspension includes a knuckle-action friction damper and a coil spring in the horizontal tube under the seat, actuated by a lever arm on the front of the swingarm (duplicated on each side).

One of Henry Ford's supply factories in Flat Rock, Michigan about 20 miles s.w. of the Motor City. Only access to the factory was the drive across the dam.Great little breakfast spot across the street from the sign too. Pic was taken 11/10/11
