Looking for dog bones to use with zzr 1200 rear shock
« on: May 31, 2011, 08:22:38 PM »
One of the best mods I did to my 2000 is install a zzr 1200 rear shock.  I love what it did for the ride and handling.  The only downside is it raised the rear of the bike at least .5", and that coupled with the Pilot GT tires I have on the bike means it really leans over on the side stand.  I really have to watch where I park it.  Also the rear tire is barely off the ground when the bike is on the centerstand.  I wonder if anyone has used or made another set of dog bones (longer or shorter?) to restore the original rear ride height.  Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.  TIA
