I would *never* be able to drill the holes with enough accuracy :)

Everything is very simple to do, I had a lot of courage or recklessness, but I managed.

You do this by starting with a 4mm drill bit. from the back of the bag in the box .. see movie, rimonti the bag, enter holes made by a pencil to mark
imprint on the eyelet lock bag, remove the bag and see that the hole is centered, that's it.

Another great idea there MGvalerio.  I like the use of the magnets to hold the pins.   One could add some rubber grommets around the holes, to maintain the waterproof seal of the bags too.

2 non-related questions though:  1, what is the thing mounted on the back, below the tail light.  2, how have you connected the speakers in the bottom of the bags, and are they just for bass (sub-woofers)?  OK, I guess that's really 3 questions...

other than the compromise of strength now in the mounting brackets, do you feel this offers more security than the simple lock mechanism already installed in the bag?
I would have to say someone with intent, is simply going to destroy the bag with a prybar.... :'(

this mod prevents 'accidental loss" without compromise to strength, or weather proof of the bags...

I didn't recognize it as a camera mount in the video.  Add the camera, and it's much more obvious.  Lets see, are you taking video of what you just passed, or the police bikes behind you?   ;)

Nice idea for routing power to the bags, through the mounts.  It would require having them pinned though since they do bounce around a lot.  Hmm, I see the need for keyless bags is now one step closer ...

Keep posting up your ideas.  It's what makes the world go round (well, that and the throttle, of course!).
